Pharmacy Marketing Specialist II

 

 

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing and creating tailored marketing plans for all business areas of pharmacy to drive growth from new and existing pharmacy and grocery shoppers. This includes collaboration between marketing, advertising and IT departments regarding business development opportunities including customer acquisition campaigns, advertising programs and consumer incentive programs to ensure smooth execution and implementation. The position will also provide reporting and results analysis for all brand marketing and advertising campaigns.

Work with pharmacy and marketing leadership to develop and create tailored marketing plans for all business areas of pharmacy. This includes customer acquisition campaigns, advertising programs, and consumer incentive programs. Provide costing estimates and tailor plans to department resources. Ensure all plans follow brand guidelines and follow company standards.

Collaborate with various departments to implement and execute all materials and assets. Coordinate marketing calendar with pharmacy operations calendar. Ensure all stores have the collateral they need to implement and execute programs effectively. Work with stores to remove all outdated marketing items promptly.

Work with the various regions to create tailored strategies to support local pharmacy needs. Partner with local marketing initiatives to identify potential pharmacy marketing opportunities. Troubleshoot any problems with regards to program execution during the promotional period.

Collaborate and communicate within the pharmacy department with a focus on operations to implement and execute all new and ongoing marketing and business development programs.

Produce analytics and reporting for all current and new marketing and advertising programs. Provide data regarding success of new initiatives. Use data to justify further investment into pharmacy marketing. Use results to update and improve current and future programs.

• Understanding of keyword research, keyword expansions, ad copy creation, ad copy execution, bid changes, campaign performance tracking & reporting, A/B testing, analysis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite specifically, Excel and Power Point (Pivot and Access competence preferred)

• Passion for data analytics and measurability

• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pace environment

• Ability to proactively organize daily tasks

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
