Job Title: Manager,  Accounting-Accounts Receivable 
Location: Store Support Center - Finance

Position Overview
The accounting manager, is responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP through leadership of areas to include general ledger, lease accounting, corporate balance sheet account reconciliations, and analysis of key financial statement trends.
Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Ensure delivery of accurate, timely and relevant financial information to internal and external customers
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Execute control procedures related to preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations of assigned areas.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment.
  • Responsible for compliance and policy for areas including but not limited to lease accounting, significant accounting estimates, consolidation, purchase accounting and other non-routine transactions.
  • Coach, lead, train and develop team members.
  • Maintain departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development of required footnote disclosures including review of quarterly and annual reports.
  • Communicate with management concerning, but not limited to, departmental activities, workflows and employee development.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Five (5) years professional level experience in accounting and at least two (2) years of related supervisory or management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPA professional certification.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accounting theories and principles and the ability to apply that knowledge to work projects.
  • Strong financial documentation, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a large corporate accounting structure.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
  • Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
  • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters of Business Administration or Masters of Accountancy
  • Public Audit (Big 4) experience
  • Background in preparation and review of corporate consolidations and financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of internal accounting controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Public company experience, experience with SEC filings including 10-K and 10-Q
  • Strong PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
  • Extensive computer skills with regards to production, distribution and analysis of both regular and special management reporting.
  • Ability to understand and carry through complex oral and written instructions containing technical terminology without direct supervision.
  • Ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of internal and external team members and external customers.
  • Able to meet and set deadlines in order to achieve company goals.
  • Ability to coordinate a wide range of responsibilities and work productively under time constraints; can meet and set deadlines in order to achieve company goals.
