Job Purpose

The Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for providing the highest and best level of talent and services to Southeastern Grocers as needed and/or requested and is located at the SEG Store Support Center (SSC). This position is a partner to the business, HRBPs and recruiters; aligning Talent Acquisition's strategy with that of SEG. This role will Attract, Develop, Motivate and Retain associates that are REAL and who own our Way of Being. In addition, the Sr Manager TA will help design and track talent measurements to tell the story and inform strategic decision making.


Essential Responsibilities


% Of Time

Builds, implements and owns the SSC SEG Talent Acquisition strategy that aligns with Our Way Forward and Path to Success (Company Strategy).  


Leads and develops a team of recruiter(s) that ensures all sourcing, hiring, onboarding SLAs are current, realistic and followed. Recruit executive level positions. Builds a bench for critical positions.  Ensures team remains aligned with company and Talent Acquisition strategy.


Develops, explores, tracks and trends relevant metrics to guide decision-making and planning.  Applies experience and insights to provide actionable information.


Leads Internship Program, develop relationships with universities to promote loyalty and entry level hiring and conducts SSC SEG Career Fairs.


Manages the TA budget, including the relocation program.


Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
