Manager, Cycle Team
The Manager, cycle team is responsible for overall management of the cycle teams in a defined territory of 80 to 100 stores and 5 to 10 cycle teams, which includes one SEG Supervisor and eight (8) vendor team members. Manager, Cycle Team will be responsible for coaching and developing Supervisor, Cycle team and successful implementation and merchandising of category business plans. The Manager, cycle team will also ensure the cycle team assist with merchandising of full store resets/remodels and the planning and set up of new stores. This position requires an inspirational leader engaged in teaching and coaching team members for outstanding execution and ownership of store planograms and processes.
1. Ownership and Leadership
Manage day-to-day operations of the Supervisors, Cycle Teams and associated activities performed in stores. Own and resolve all issues in assigned stores through interaction and communication with the store team and Reset Operations. Assess Supervisors’ strengths and areas of development through yearly reviews and quarterly follow ups. Develop Supervisors through coaching, insight, and support to drive desired results and business goals and achieve company expectations. Assist Supervisors in developing plans to address gaps in performance.
2. Training and Communication
Communicate business goals to supervisor, cycle team and assist in strategic planning to deliver results. Communicate the team schedule and related work-list and ensure the supervisor, cycle team communicates and coordinates appropriately. Provide training to new and existing team members to support leadership growth and development through daily calls, weekly store visits, and monthly store walks. Build productive and effective relationships with District and Regional leaders to proactively address reset and store impact concerns.
Ensure teams complete assigned work for each store to include category cycle sets to planogram, place new items to proper location, proper processing of residual inventory (backstock, discontinued items, out of dates and unauthorized), and post scan process through weekly store visits and monthly store walks with each supervisor using the store walk guidelines provided by Reset Operations. Coordinate and schedule special project requests with approval from Reset Operations. Plan and organize store reset operations walks with store team, DDs, and RVPs.
4. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
High School / GED
Course of Study:
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years additional relevant work experience
Course of Study:
6 - 10 yrs minimum
3 - 7 yrs minimum

Store Support Center
While performing the essential functions of this position, the associate is regularly (67-100%)required to sit, use hands or fingers to handle, hold or feel objects, tools or controls, talk, see, hear and perform repetitive movements with both hands. The employee is regularly (67-100%)required to stand or walk on carpet, tile or concrete, carry, push, lift or pull up to 100 lbs.
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is typically not substantially exposed to adverse working conditions.
