Job Purpose

Responsible for the centralized support of headquarter and field teams throughout various projects.  This role will manage a team to support various cross functional departments with regards to planning, implementation, and execution of supply chain initiatives.  This position will provide oversight and reporting on supplier performance relative to contractual terms, specifically adherence to operational key performance indicators (KPI).  In addition, this position will be responsible for identifying and executing value added projects in the areas of service and quality improvements, along with cost reductions.

 

Responsibilities

1. Manage various levels of analytical support for the management of projects in Supply chain, including Quality, Pharmacy, and other warehouses.  This includes providing support for company processes and initiatives that affect merchandise procurement, warehousing and transportation. Coordinate with other supply chain teams on projects, processes and KPI analytics to improve, drive or develop new initiatives to operational performance.

 

2. Manage a team of analysts to provide operational and management reports to the business to improve decisions through the use of fact-based information and analysis.  Develop team to provide insightful analytics and critical thought as it applies to supply chain projects and initiatives.

 

3. Develop weekly and period reporting and analyze reports to identify current and potential KPI shortfalls.  Develop tools and management reports to improve financial processes and decisions through the use of fact-based information and analyses.

 

4. Identify and recommend improvements to the company’s supply chain management and control standards.  Work with senior leadership to gain support for improvements.

5. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

  

        

 

 

 

Qualifications

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree

Course of Study:

Business Administration

Education Preferred:

Master's Degree

Course of Study:

Same as above.

Relevant Experience:

6 - 10 yrs minimum

3 - 7 yrs minimum

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Ability to conceptualize long-term projects and turn them into actionable plans.  Proven experience functioning efficiently with executive leadership.  Strong ability to influence without authority.  Strong PC skills including working knowledge and proficiency with the primary Microsoft Office applications.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:

Knowledge of inventory distribution and receiving operations.  Solid understanding of inventory-related accounting concepts.
