Garnishment Administrator II

 

 

 

Job Purpose

Responsible for processing the garnishment/court orders for the entire associate population (hourly and salary). This includes responding timely to interrogatories, setting up of garnishments/court orders within PeopleSoft, maintaining accurate vendor maintenance, and processing of payments and mailing of checks.

Processes garnishments/court orders as received. Researches and responds to garnishment correspondence.

Performs administrative tasks including mail, copying, faxing and scanning garnishment documentation.

Reviews and processes payroll subpoena and verification requests. Interprets subpoenas to determine if additional information or attention is required. Takes appropriate action to follow up.

Processes invoices, check requests, employee reimbursements and maintains Accounts Payable and Payroll internal controls through proper processes and procedures.

Processes new vendor requests and collects vendor W-9 forms. Resolves discrepancies with vendors.

Performs off-cycle payroll processing as needed.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Demonstrated strong PC skills including working knowledge and proficiency with the primary Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with relational databases, preferably PeopleSoft, and case/call tracking systems.

• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Previous experience in payroll with sufficient proficiency to independently process payroll.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred

• Three (3) years customer service experience preferably in an accounts payable or payroll environment.

• Three (3) or more year’s in-depth experience in legal, payroll, or accounting.
