Job Purpose

This role reports to the EVP, Chief People Officer and is responsible for the execution of the organization’s talent management strategy, including learning design, performance management, recognition, engagement and inclusion. This role delivers and implements talent and performance management programs and people services that facilitate alignment and integration of business strategy, customer service delivery, people processes and culture to improve overall company results through the engagement and performance of associates.

Talent Management, Development and Measurement

 

Partners with leadership to develop and align talent management and development strategies that drive business goal attainment. Consults with stakeholders to build the organization's succession plans, executive development plans, and overall talent management strategy aligned with business objectives and goals. Ensures talent measurements are in place by examining current tools and resources and making recommendations for improvement. Continuously scans industry trends, innovations, and best practices to maintain current knowledge base and apply as needed company-wide.

Performance Management and Engagement

 

Maintains responsibility for the development and implementation of programs, tools, methodologies and processes that enhance and measure organization and associate engagement and performance. Ensures timelines and communications align with business strategy through consultation and cooperation with stakeholders throughout the organization. Provides analysis, progress and reports results of all related programs.

Recognition and Inclusion

 

Owns and executes organization-wide Recognition and Inclusion programs and policies. Directs service award implementation and ensures timely receipt. Monitors engagement and performance analytics to measure ROI of recognition programs and events. Promotes organization-wide inclusivity and awareness with committee involvement and direction.

Learning Design

 

Directs and oversees all organization learning design. Ensures consistency and continuity throughout the field and store support center locations supporting centralized and cost effective approach and delivery.

Change Management

 

Acts as the lead Change Agent in the organization to direct and provide support, processes and practices as mechanisms to implement changes to the operation of the business. Leads Organizational Development team to execute and implement transformative actions and programs aligned with business strategies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Comprehensive knowledge of talent management, development and measurement processes and strategies

• Knowledge and experience of learning design and development

• Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills

• In depth, practical and theoretical knowledge of, and the ability to shepherd, change management processes

• Ability to manage and direct multiple complex projects simultaneously to drive solutions that meet or surpass business expectations and deliver project milestones on-time and within budget

• Experience and demonstrated passion for inclusion and recognition

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex and detailed information to a diverse population

• Exceptional problem resolution and process improvement skills

• Superior analytical, organizational, decision-making and project management skills

• Previous experience and proven success with organizational effectiveness/development specifically talent management programs.

• Previous responsibility for large scale organizational change initiatives.

• Demonstrated strong PC skills including proficiency in the primary Microsoft Office applications
