Store Ordering & Repl Analyst




Job Purpose

This role will support the day-to-day business, and will be the Subject Matter Expert, for all store ordering & replenishment processes and procedures. 


Essential Responsibilities


% Of Time

Central contact for store questions and issues relating to all ordering & replenishment process and procedures. Perform data maintenance of the computer generated ordering (CGO) forecasting engine including but not limited to, Forecast Corrections, Calendar Events, etc., to maximize in-stock levels, forecast accuracy, and optimize store inventory levels. Regularly review processes and work with Store Ordering & Replenishment Manager for potential enhancements that will maximize product availability while reducing excess inventory, improve perpetual inventory accuracy, and reduce product handling.


Collaborate with region support teams on execution excellence of store in-stock service levels that meets or exceeds industry standards, automated store ordering, SMART inventory management and replenishment. Review scorecards and other exception reports with Store and District Managers focusing on root cause, insights, and action plans. Facilitate group training sessions as needed for all teams that support retail stores.


Collaborate with central operations, total loss, and regional support teams in order to spread continuous improvement strategies and tactics and maximize the number of stores meeting the company in-stock, ordering, and inventory management goals. Develop impactful and insightful reporting to identify corporate retail in-stock levels and assist Store Ordering & Replenishment Manager to initiate programs to achieve best-in-class results.


Partner with learning and development to create impactful educational medium (e.g. GNOME computer-based training content, job aids, FAQs, etc.).


Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



Required Education

Course of Study

Bachelor's Degree

Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Demonstrated strong PC skills including proficiency with the primary Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills required.

• Ability to interact with multiple levels of internal and external management and to conduct meetings and presentations in a proficient and professional manner.

• High standard of integrity and reliability.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred

• Previous retail, grocery experience.

• Previous experience in demand planning.
